Trains to Grantham
Grantham Station information
Originally opened in 1852, Grantham Station is located right in the centre of town – so, as you step off your train to Grantham, you’re just a short stroll away from its many attractions, including the Grantham Museum and the Guildhall Arts Centre.
Customer services are open from 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday, and cycle storage can be found at the south end of platform 1.
The tickets office is open from 05.50 to 20.00 Monday to Saturday, and from 08.50 to 19.30 on Sunday. Self-service machines are also available.
Don’t forget that you can skip the ticket office and save up to 60% on your train ticket by booking in advance via our website.
Grantham station car park offers a generous 616 spaces and is open 24/7. The following charges apply:
£11 per day on weekdays
£6 per day on weekend
£47 per week
Monthly, three-monthly and annual car parking passes are also available (a valid rail season ticket must be presented).
A free short stay car park (maximum stay of one hour) is also available.
Taxis are normally available at the station’s rank, so advance booking isn’t usually necessary; however, if you are arriving early in the morning or late at night, it’s a good idea to book ahead with Grantham Taxis (01476 594594).
Buses are available from the town centre. For information on travelling by bus in Grantham and to plan your journey, visit the East Midlands Traveline website.
