This station has step free access to Platform 1 (for trains towards Colchester and London) only. Platform 2 (for trains towards Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze) can only be accessed via a stepped footbridge or via a public footpath from Clifton Terrace, which has steps between the road and the footpath.
