Birmingham New Street Station | Station Information | Hull Trains

Birmingham New Street station was opened in 1854 and was named after New Street running parallel to the station. The station was entirely rebuilt in 1967 and underwent a £550 million modern redevelopment in 2015. Now, Birmingham New Street is the busiest and largest of the three main railway stations in the city, and with 43.7 million passengers passing through the station between April 2017 and March 2018, this makes it one of the busiest stations in the UK. The station is a brilliant shopping hub showcasing modern amenities, with the rest of the city also booming with development.
