Cleethorpes station was opened on Easter Monday in 1863 when the line was extended from Grimsby, connecting the two coastal towns together. Located in North East Lincolnshire, Cleethorpes provides fun for all the family and showcases four and a half miles of golden, sandy beaches. The opening of Cleethorpes station, which is a grade II listed building, brought many seaside-goers to the resort and it has remained a highly popular destination to this day. From promenade to the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, you’ll have plenty to see and do in Cleethorpes.
