1. Pride in Hull

When: 27th July 2024
Where: Queens Gardens, Hull

Pride in Hull is back! This free, non-ticketed event will be a day full of family friendly entertainment in support of the LGBT+ community. Pride in Hull all kicks off with a parade through the city centre around midday, arriving at Queens Gardens at 1pm where a blockbuster line-up will commence until 8pm. You may see some familiar faces from the celebrity world! If you’re up for some more fun, there will be several afterparties around the city centre. Head to the website for more information.

2. Hull Comic Con 2024

When: 20th July 2024, 11-5pm
Where: Connexin Live, Hull
 
If you’re a fan of all things TV, movies, comics and video games, Hull Comic Con 2024 is the event for you. Conventions are more popular than ever, giving attendees the chance to meet the actors and makers behind many sci-fi and fantasy creations in photo and autograph sessions, purchase exclusive merchandise and even show off impressive cosplay outfits. It’s a great place to meet others with similar interests and passions. With special guests, panels, stalls, workshops and games, it will promise a full day of entertainment. 3. Humber Street Sesh

When: 3rd August 2024
Where: Hull Marina

This multi-award-winning festival returns and is anticipated to attract many visitors! It’s going to be bigger and better than ever before! Expect a brilliant range of entertainment from bands and acts across multiple stages, as well as special guests, street food, workshops and much more. 4. Live from the Yard

When: 8-11th August 2024
Where: Zebedee's Yard, Hull

A new live music weekend coming to Hull for 2024. Local talent Calum Scott has been announced to be performing on 8th August with the rest of the line up yet to be announced. Tickets are on sale now - book here!
 

5. Freedom Festival

When: 28th Aug – 1st September 2024
Where: Hull City Centre

Freedom Festival will offer 5 days of extraordinary line-ups and entertainment, with free entry and some ticketed attractions. This event brings over 100,000 visitors to the city centre of Hull to enjoy the festivities. Freedom Festival’s impressive line-up always consists of outstanding street performances, circus, dance, music, talks, art, exhibitions and so much more.
