1. Pride in Hull

Pride in Hull is back! This free, non-ticketed event will be a day full of family friendly entertainment in support of the LGBT+ community. Pride in Hull all kicks off with a parade through the city centre around midday, arriving at Queens Gardens at 1pm where a blockbuster line-up will commence until 8pm. You’ll see some familiar faces from the celebrity world, including Claire from Steps and Mel C from the Spice Girls! If you’re up for some more fun, there will be several afterparties around the city centre. Hull Trains are proud to support Pride in Hull 2019 – keep an eye out for the volunteer t-shirts! 2. Hull Comic Con 2019

3. Humber Street Sesh
When: 2-3rd August 2019Where: Hull Marina
This multi-award-winning festival returns for its 8th year and with 32,000 people anticipated to attend this two-day event, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before! Expect a brilliant range of entertainment from 200 bands and acts across 14 stages, as well as special guests, street food, workshops and much more. Humber Street Sesh is a ticketed event – advanced tickets cost £15 and tickets on the gate cost £20 – so be sure to grab your ticket fast. Kids 12 and under get free entry when accompanied by a paying adult. You can purchase tickets online or visit a listed outlet in Hull for a wristband. 4. Yum! Festival of Food and Drink

A festival for all the foodies out there! With a huge variety of delicious, locally-sourced produce, you don’t want to miss this celebration of food and drink, tradition and worldwide. Yum! Festival of Food and Drink will feature local market stalls, street food and children’s entertainment, so why not make a day of it. Best of all, it’s free entry so get yourself down to foodie central in Queens Gardens!
5. Freedom Festival
When: 28th Aug – 1st September 2019Where: Hull Marina
Now in its 12th year, Freedom Festival will offer 5 days of extraordinary line-ups and entertainment, with free entry and some ticketed attractions. Last year, the event brought over 132,000 visitors to the city centre of Hull to enjoy the festivities. Freedom Festival’s impressive 2019 line-up consist of outstanding street performances, circus, dance, music, talks, art, exhibitions and so much more.
