CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR 2026 TRAIN SERVICE CHANGES
Hull Trains services are open to book for the 2026 Christmas season. Our services will operate slightly differently over the Christmas and New Year period, so please check the details below before travelling.
Key changes:
• No services on 24th, 25th and 26th December
• Normal service on 23rd and 28-30th December
• Reduced services on 27th & 31st December & 1st January

Hull Trains Christmas Services 2026
23rd: Normal service
24th, 25th & 26th: No services
27th: Slightly reduced service, 08:57 from London will not run
28th to 30th: Normal service
31st: Slightly reduced service, 19:09 from Hull will not run & 20:18 from London King’s Cross will not run
1st: Slightly reduced service, 07:18 from London & 05:53/06:15 from Beverley/Hull will not run
2nd: Normal service

Additional Capacity on Hull Trains Services
To help accommodate increased passenger numbers in the run-up to Christmas, we’ve added an extra carriage to the following Hull Trains services to provide additional capacity for customers travelling to and from London. These will operate alongside our usual 10-car services.
19th December: 16:10 departure from KGX
20th December: 09:06 from Hull, 12:54 from KGX, 16:36 from Hull
23rd December: 09:18 from KGX, 12:33 from Hull, 16:10 from KGX
Heading Home for Christmas?
Planning your journey home for Christmas? Whether you're travelling from London or heading into the capital, make sure you plan ahead.
There will be no Hull Trains services on 24th, 25th or 26th December. This means you'll need to travel by 23rd December before Christmas or plan your return journey from 27th December onwards.

First and Last Hull Trains Services
On 23rd December, the last southbound Hull Trains service is 19:09 from Hull. The last northbound service is 20:18 from London King's Cross.
On 27th December, the first southbound Hull Trains service is 07:54 from Hull. The first northbound service is 11:13 from London King's Cross.
Travelling With Luggage
As space can be limited when a service is busy, we ask that customers bring no more than three items of luggage – a maximum of one large suitcase (no bigger than 30x70x90cm), a small carry on bag and a handbag.
Please remember to make use of the luggage racks, overhead and under seat storage on board our Paragon trains. Do not block doorways, aisles and wheelchair spaces.
