Yes, the Hull Trains app is completely free to download and use. Easily log in or create an account with us and plan your journey on the go.
Search for tickets, find useful travel information, live updates and more on the Hull Trains app. Plan your journey from door-to-door using our handy map feature and see your journey from A to B, step by step. For the best experience, log in using your Hull Trains account details or register a new account within the app. 
Log into your Hull Trains account, select a journey and ticket and choose “download a mobile ticket” as your delivery option. View all your bookings, including e-tickets, in the “My Tickets” section within the app when logged into your account.
Simply choose a journey on the Hull Trains app or website, select “download a mobile ticket” as your delivery option if available and find your e-ticket ready to use under “My Tickets” in the Hull Trains app. Present your e-ticket barcode on your mobile when requested on board and at ticket barriers. Speak to a member of station staff if you need assistance at the barriers. 
Ensure you are logged in on the app, open your e-ticket under “My Tickets” and select the information icon (i) on the e-ticket. This will show additional information such as your journey and ticket details, and any seats reservations you may have. You can also find your ticket details by logging into your Hull Trains account on our website

Yes, you can use a Railcard to get discounted travel as normal when purchasing an e-ticket. Ensure you travel with your Railcard to make your ticket valid for travel. More information about Railcards can be found here
Your e-ticket should be visible in the Hull Trains app under “My Tickets” as soon as you have completed your purchase. 
Yes, you will get a booking confirmation by email as normal when purchasing an e-ticket with Hull Trains. A copy of your e-ticket will also be attached as a PDF back up.
If you cannot present your ticket for travel when requested, you will be asked to purchase another ticket. Please do ensure your device is fully charged or make use of our plug and USB sockets on board our Paragon fleet. A PDF copy of your e-ticket will also be emailed to you with your booking confirmation as back up.
Your e-ticket will be stored under “My Tickets” in the Hull Trains app. You can access and view your e-ticket even without mobile signal but we recommend you check your ticket in the Hull Trains app before travelling to ensure the e-ticket will load up again should you not have service. A PDF version of your e-ticket will also be emailed to you along with your booking confirmation as a back up.
