It may be a little outside of town, but no visit to East Yorkshire is complete without a trip to view the awe-inspiring Humber Bridge. As the eighth longest of its type, this impressive suspension bridge carries an average of 120,000 vehicles safely across the Humber each week. It also hosts a farmer’s market every 1st Sunday of the month and the attached Country Park is a 21 acres nature reserve, with nature trails winding through the woods, a bird-feeding station, and sculptures.

An active Grade I listed Parish church in the heart of this East Yorkshire village, the earliest part of the current church is the priest’s door which dates to the 13th Century. During Heritage Open Days the church also does tours of the tower which is well worth a visit.
