CONNECTING YORKSHIRE AND THE HUMBER WITH LONDON AND BEYOND
Our direct services make travelling between Hull and the capital simple, with journeys taking as little as 2 hours 30 minutes. Along the way, our trains serve destinations including Beverley, Cottingham, Brough, Howden, Selby, Doncaster, Retford and Grantham, with selected services also calling at Stevenage.
For more than 25 years, we've been proud to connect people with the places that matter to them - whether that's commuting to work, visiting friends and family, enjoying a day out or exploring somewhere new.
Our dedicated team, both onboard and behind the scenes, has been the key to our success for over two decades. From train drivers and onboard staff to our office team, everyone is committed to providing exceptional journeys by focusing on the details that make a difference.
Our Story
Hull Trains began operating in 2000 with a simple ambition: to provide a direct rail connection between Hull and London.
Since then, we've grown from our first services carrying around 80,000 passengers in our first year to becoming an established operator serving more than 5 million passengers.
In 2019, we introduced our Paragon fleet as part of a £60 million investment, replacing our previous trains with five modern Hitachi Class 802s.
Today, we're continuing to build on that history by improving the experience for our customers, supporting the communities we serve and making it easier to travel by rail.
Modern Trains, Better Journeys
Our Paragon fleet of five Hitachi Class 802 trains combines modern technology with a comfortable onboard experience. Every train offers free Wi-Fi and power at every seat, giving you the freedom to work or simply sit back and enjoy the journey. Our First Class service provides an enhanced experience, with more space, reclining seats and complimentary refreshments.
Our Paragon trains use bi-mode technology, allowing them to operate using electric power where overhead electrification is available making journeys much more sustainable than ever before.
