What are Off Peak Train Tickets?
Off Peak train tickets are tickets that allow you to be flexible with your travel, avoiding the busiest peak services. They give you flexibility as you can choose from multiple services meaning you are not required to travel on one specific service, like you would be with an Advance ticket. Off Peak train tickets are available as singles, returns and day returns. Off Peak Singles/Returns and Off Peak day returns differ in validity so be sure to check before you travel.
Hull Trains Only and Any Permitted Off Peak tickets also differ in validity. Please enquire if you have an Any Permitted Off Peak ticket and you are unsure, or you can check the National Rail Enquiries website.
