Our brand new Long Weekender return train tickets make trips to London easier than ever. Travel on a Friday and return on a Monday on off peak Hull Trains services. Long Weekender tickets can be a cheaper alternative to buying two Advance singles, and are cheaper than similar open ticket types including Anytime Returns.
 
Travel to London for £65 or less from Hull, Brough, Howden, Selby or Doncaster. Long Weekender tickets are valid Standard Class in both directions between our Yorkshire stations and London King's Cross. Better yet, because our Long Weekender tickets are off peak tickets, you’ll get more flexibility than if you were to book Advance tickets.

What are Long Weekender tickets?

Long Weekender Return tickets are a type of Off Peak Return ticket – you’ll see the ticket referenced as the Long Weekender ticket in the booking flow, so you know what to select when you make your booking.

These tickets are a great option for weekend trips to London, giving you flexibility on your travel.

When making your booking, search for a return journey and click the return tickets tab where you'll find the Long Weekender ticket available to select on Off Peak services.

Where can I travel using a Long Weekender ticket?

Hull Trains Long Weekender tickets are available to book to or from London King’s Cross from the following stations:

Hull, Brough, Howden, Selby or Doncaster

These tickets are valid in both directions, meaning you can start your journey from the above stations or start your journey from London King’s Cross.

When can I travel using a Long Weekender ticket?

Travel on a Friday and return on a Monday with a Long Weekender ticket. Peak time restrictions have been lifted on Fridays until further notice so you can travel at any time on a Friday with a Long Weekender Ticket.

On Mondays, travel at any time except: 15:48 from London King’s Cross and 06:26 from Hull.

LONG WEEKENDER TRAIN TICKET FAQS

Long Weekender tickets are return train tickets valid on off peak Hull Trains services – travel on a Friday, return on a Monday. They are a great option for weekend trips to London as they are a flexible train ticket option.
Easily book a Long Weekender ticket on the Hull Trains website or app. Travel from Hull, Brough, Howden, Selby or Doncaster to London King's Cross (available in both directions).

Make a return journey search, departing on Friday and returning on Monday. 
- On desktop, click the return tickets tab to view all return ticket types, and select the Long Weekender ticket. 
- On our app, select your off peak services, scroll to see other ticket types, and select the Long Weekender ticket. 
Our Long Weekender return tickets can be used in both directions between Hull, Brough, Howden, Selby or Doncaster and London King’s Cross. You can start your journey in London or one of the above Yorkshire stations. You must travel on Hull Trains services and in Standard Class for this ticket to be valid.

Long Weekender Terms and Conditions

1. Hull Trains Long Weekender tickets are off peak return tickets valid on off peak Hull Trains services only, subject to availability.
2. Valid for outward travel on Fridays and return travel on Mondays until further notice, on valid off peak services only.
3. Valid only in Standard Class on Hull Trains services.
4. Hull Trains Long Weekender tickets are valid in both directions between Hull, Brough, Howden, Selby or Doncaster and London King’s Cross.
5. Railcard discounts can be applied at the time of purchase.
6. Long Weekender tickets can be amended if required. Amendments to travel plans may be possible up to the day before travel; a change of journey fee may apply.
