‘Seat Picker’ is now live on the Hull Trains website to provide customers with a choice of where to sit, and in what carriage, when booking tickets online. The new facility will only be available to customers who book Hull Trains services direct via the Hull Trains website.
The new service is in response to customer demand with research showing that advance seat selection is the number one customer request to Hull Trains regarding website functionality.
David Gibson, Managing Director, said: “We are a business that is always looking to improve our service offering and the only way to do that is by listening to what our customers say. Passengers have been asking us to introduce an online option to choose seats Since we launched our new booking flow last year.
“I am confident that Seat Picker will make booking journeys with us even more satisfying for customers, and we will continue to look at new ways of improving passenger experience.”
When using the seat picker customers can select a seat in a way that will be familiar to those who have selected seats on airline websites. Customers can choose from table and aisle seating throughout the carriages and see which seats have already been reserved by other passengers.
Seat Picker is only available on Hull Trains services at www.hulltrains.co.uk and can be used on both mobile and desktop.
