On 25th September, 30 members of the UK’s national media travelled to Hull to attend the press screening of the world-renowned Turner Prize, with Hull Trains.

The Turner Prize will be held in Hull as part of its city of culture year. The Ferens Art Gallery is hosting the exhibition of shortlisted artists from 26 September 2017 – 7 January 2018. The winner of the Turner Prize 2017 will be announced in Hull in December, with the ceremony broadcast live on the BBC.

Will Dunnett, Managing Director of Hull Trains says: "Hull Trains is a huge advocate for the city of Hull and we are always very excited by the opportunities we have to showcase what we have to offer the rest of the UK during our city of culture year.

“We have supported Hull in its city of culture year with additional services and timetables and in turn we have also enjoyed unprecedented customer growth. We hope the nation’s media were able to enjoy our unique ‘Hull welcome’ from the moment they stepped on-board.”

Hull Trains award-winning Business Services Team ensured the journalists were given a true taste of travel with the UK's Rail Operator of the Year.
