Starting out on Brick Lane, Cereal Killer Cafe has increased in popularity over the years, and with good reason. Who doesn't want to tuck into a bowl of sweet sugary cereal all day every day?

That's right, this eatery serves over 120 types of cereal, sourced from all over the world. You can also choose from 20 different toppings and 30 kinds of milk to accompany your signature dish (or bowl, in this case).

We have cereal from America, Australia, Israel, Spain, Portugal and pretty much everywhere, Drew Westwood, Area Manager, tells us. Choose a medium bowl and you can have up to two types of cereal. With a large bowl, you get the option of three.

Menu highlights include American Fruit Loops, British Rice Krispies, Australian Milo and French Chokella. In the meantime, cover your food with your standard semi-skimmed or opt for one of their premium milks. Creme brulee, chocolate cookie and pumpkin spice are all "flavourites" among punters.

For those who cant quite choose their scrumptious concoction, Drew highly recommends a milky cocktail: These are combinations that we have put together. If youre a fan of chocolate, I would suggest the Chocopottomus; its a beautiful mixture of Coco Pops, Krave and chocolate milk and even has a Kinder Happy Hippo thrown in there.

The strange idea for the shop has humble beginnings. Twins Alan and Gary Keery came up with the concept after trying to hunt down a simple bowl of cereal in Shoreditch whilst suffering from a hangover.

Many people didn't think it would work, including me, Drew admits. But, we now have seven premises all over the globe.

There is a Cereal Killer Cafe on Brick Lane, in Camden, Birmingham, Kuwait, Dubai and two in Jordan.

With us, it's all about the experience, Drew enthuses. Each of our shops is covered in retro memorabilia from the 80s and 90s. Customers sit on beds that have vintage duvets on them as they tuck into their cereal.

You can even feast your eyes on classic episodes of some of your favourite childhood TV shows, including Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Thundercats

Cereal is not just for breakfast at the Cereal Killer Cafe. Their Brick Lane restaurant is open from 8am until 8pm daily, whilst the Camden branch is 9:30am until 7pm.

So, we ask, is there anything on the menu that isn't cereal?

We also serve a wide range of drinks, including indulgent Stacked Hot Chocolates and Malt Shakes, as well as an array of American sodas. Drew tells us. In Camden, we've just started doing Cereal Milk Ice Cream, which is as delicious as it sounds. We basically soak cereal in milk and then make it into ice cream. We have Frosties, Lucky Charms and Coco Pops flavours.

They also offer toast and Pop Tarts for those who arent in the mood for milk.

Cereal lovers can book out the venues for parties. It's the perfect way to treat the big kid in your life, whether it's for a birthday or business breakfast.

"The Cereal Killer Cafe is a true cereal experience," Drew smiles.
