First Hull Trains were established in the year 2000, with our maiden voyage taking place on 25th September that year.
Having initially started out with just three daily services, we now offer our customers seven weekday and five weekend services. Passenger numbers have steadily increased too, and we welcomed 735,358 people on board in 2012.
As one of the smaller scale UK train operators, we aim to offer a personal touch that our competitors can’t – from getting to know our most regular customers to making sure that everyone on board enjoys the most comfortable journey possible.

Passengers in our First Class carriage can enjoy complimentary food and drinks.

There’s plenty of space to stow your luggage on board (please note that bicycles can also be accommodated but should be booked in advance).
If you think you will require extra assistance while travelling with us, then our dedicated Passenger Assist service can be arranged for any of the stations towhich we travel.
You can purchase your First Hull Trains tickets by telephone, via the website or on our mobile app, and you won’t be charged any booking fees or credit card fees.
As part of our commitment to making travelling as easy as possible, passengers are also now able to purchase pre-loaded Oyster Cards and Day Travel Cards on board.
