EXPLORE SELBY WITH HULL TRAINS

No trip to Selby is complete without visiting the magnificent, medieval Selby Abbey which is the traditional birthplace of Henry I who was born around 1070. The Abbey is one of the largest parish churches in Britain. Rich in history, Selby’s origins date back to the establishment of a Viking settlement by the River Ouse.

If you are a keen walker or cyclist, the Trans Pennine Trail is easily accessible from Selby. Visit the regular Farmer’s Markets and come again to feast at the annual food festival.
