Wi-Fi technology is now available on all First Hull Trains and is completely FREE. This new service will allow you to connect to the internet whilst on the move and will give you the opportunity to check your emails, get the latest travel information, catch up on some work or even plan your holiday whilst travelling with us.

Where to access your Wi-Fi

By using multiple, best available, mobile data connections, we can ensure that you get the best internet connection as you travel, meaning your session won't get interrupted. To access our Wi-Fi service, all you need is a Wi-Fi enabled device. All mainstream laptops, tablets, PDAs, smartphones and web browsers are supported.

Getting started. It's simple!

Connecting to our Wi-Fi is easy.

Simply turn your device on and connect to hulltrains-wifi wireless network. This can be found on most laptops and PDAs by clicking on the Wi-Fi symbol. All you then need to do is choose our network and open your internet browser. It really is that simple!

Once you are connected to our server, you will need to complete a quick registration form. This will only take two minutes and willonly have to be done once. Each time you use our Wi-Fi after that, you can just enter your emailand password.

You should now be connected and free to surf away!

How does the service work?

Wi-Fi is an increasingly popular technology that allows you to connect to the internet from the office, at home by creating a 'hotspot'. Our system takes this a step further by turning the train into a 'hotspot', meaning you can get online when on board.

What speeds will I get?

Your speeds will vary dependent on your location and the number of users on the service at any one time.

What can I download?

For the benefit of everyone, we would encourage you to be considerate when using the on-board Wi-Fi. Please only use the Wi-Fi service for general web browsing, emails and connecting to your corporate network. Please do not use media streaming websites, or attempt to send or download large files.

How secure is the network?

We have implemented a number of measures to reduce the risk to users. This is an open network, but it should not be possible for people to gain unauthorised access to your computer. We recommend that you ensure you have up to date firewall and anti-virus software installed.

What happens if I lose connection?

You can resume your session by going back to the entry portal and logging in with your email and password.

What do I do if the landing page doesn't appear when I open my web browser?

If your landing page does not appear automatically, then you should enter http://hulltrains.on.icomera.com directly into your web browser.

I can't get my computer settings to configure to the First Hull Trains Wi-Fi service. Why?

It is likely that your Wi-Fi / Internet settings are or have been locked, especially if you have a company device. Please contact your company IT department for assistance and then try again.

First Hull Trains Wi-Fi is provided free of charge to all passengers on all of our fleet of trains. However the facility can not be provided when alternative rolling stock is provided or when normal operating circumstances do not apply.
