It's a venue that provides a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
Now First Hull Trains is delighted to have teamed up with the Premier Inn at London King's Cross to offer passengers some credit crunch busting special offers.
Our new partnership will see customers being offered buy one, get one free vouchers, between now and the end of September, for both breakfast and evening meals at The Waiting Room bar in the hotel, which is just a stone's throw away from the station.
Designed to coincide with some of our busiest arrivals and departures out of London, our customers can take advantage of the breakfast offer between 6.30am and 10am on weekdays and from 7am to 11am on weekends.
Meanwhile, the evening meal offer is available seven days a week from 4pm to 10pm. They can also rest in the safe knowledge that it only takes two minutes to cross over to King's Cross, ensuring they catch their train on time.
We caught up with the hotel's new General Manager, Stephen Clayton, to find out more about the hotel. "We've just undertaken extensive refurbishment work in our restaurant and meeting rooms," he said.
"It's a concept that is being piloted at King's Cross for Premier Inn, part of the Whitbread Group. The new look and feel is very cosy and contemporary and we hope that it will encourage people to escape from the fast-paced areas around the station to a tranquil setting either for business or leisure purposes."
David Townend, Sales & Marketing Manager for First Hull Trains, is delighted to be working so closely with the venue. "Premier Inn's sheer proximity to King’s Cross is ideal for our passengers," he added. "Members of our crew stay at the hotel on a regular basis and this is testament to its quality - we have no hesitation in recommending it to our passengers either. It has a really unique feel to it and provides an ideal retreat at a time when facilities within the station are limited due to the amount of redevelopment work that's taking place there."
Children can dine at the restaurant for £4.25 for a two course meal. Meanwhile, a £20 meal deal menu offers a two course dinner, a drink and the "all you can eat" full English buffet breakfast. All for £20!
